R.A.W. Storytelling is a relaxed, authentic and sometimes wily adult storytelling open mic. Seven-minute stories are told by those who sign up at the door. I started R.A.W. to have an open mic for stories of all kinds, not just the rainbows and kittens kind, the raw ones too.
A raw story is just truth. Your truth. Come share it.
We invite you to the stage, hands shaking, heart pounding to tell a story. You can tell it or read it. This is for everyone from the one who scribbles in a 99 cent notebook and thinks it's probably crap (those are the best ones) to seasoned storytellers using it for a practice. This night is for ALL folks.
What kind of stories? Yours. Could be the time you got caught by your parents making out at the crick... Or the sound of your gramma's false teeth that didn't fit correctly... Or slutting around after your divorce. All stories.* Let's listen to each other. Let's connect over story in these insane times.
