One Day Mini-Writing Retreat - June 13 in Kansas City

Have you ever thought about writing about your life?
You have stories. I know you do. You may wonder how to start, which ones to tell, how to write them and what if they suck, then what? Most importantly, they won't suck. There is pure power in telling your stories.

Come to this retreat to learn fun ways to get started and get a full story out on the page. Once you go through the whole process you'll be able to do it on your own. We can also continue meeting for writing and creativity time in the future if you enjoy yourself!
Activities:
 -Art Journaling for the Non-Artist
 -Pulling Memories
 -Getting Started
 -Writing Separately but Together:
 -Painless Revision
 -Joyful Sharing

"We really enjoyed the Playing with Memoir workshop hosted by Kim Blevins. Kim was warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable through the whole process. We enjoyed spending time being creative in a safe and supportive environment; decorating our notebooks with the variety of prompts and ideas that she gave. The "metaphors of the self" prompt was especially insightful and inspired positive self-reflection. We highly recommend taking this workshop!"

"The ease with which you tell your story, the fascinating subject matter, the truth-telling you do, giving the rest of us permission to do the same. You're contributing much by what you're creating. I hope you're aware of it. - A Storyteller, 2022.
